Welcome

Greetings!  Whether you are looking for a church home or a place to worship while visiting the Jamestown, NY area, you are invited to join us on Sundays at 10:30 AM. in person or via our live stream both here and on our church Facebook page.

We are a Christian & Missionary Alliance Church that wants to:

Exalt Christ as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King.

Equip believers for works of service and ministry.

and

Engage our world, both locally and globally in word and deed ministries.

You will find that we are implenting these three values in several ways. We do it through our worship service, Sunday School program, small groups, and several other ministries which you can find under our ministry tab. We would love the opportunity for you to visit, get to know us, and discover what your spiritual gift is as well as be equipped to use that in ministry both in and outside the church. We want to discover together what it means to exalt, equip and engage our world.

We are located on the corner of West Third Street and Lakin Ave. (use West 3rd Street if you are using a GPS to locate us).  We have on-street parking.  We provide nursery care and have a children's church duirng the Morning Worship Service. If you have any questions please feel free to email or call the church office.  Also, note the announcements in the middle of this page.  Some exciting things are happening these days at Jamestown C&MA.  Please join us!

In His Service,

Pastor Dan Groh

Covid-19 Update

Coronavirus Update: February 20, 2022

The Covid-19 virus has hit our congregation close to home. We wanted to let you know that Pastor Dan and his wife have tested positive for Covid-19, as well as several other attendees. The elder board has decided to suspend in-person services until Sunday, March 21st out of an abundance of caution.

We do encourage each of you to regularly monitor yourself and your family members for any problematic symptoms. Any questions should first and foremost be communicated to your primary care physician. For further questions, you can call New York's Coronavirus hotline at 1-888-364-3065. A more comprehensive resource is available at Chautauqua County's Department of Health.

When we reopened last June, the board came up with a Re-opening Plan that had a contingency for this type of situation. In the document it states that all services and activities will be suspended for 14 days if anyone in the congregation tests positive and has been attending services. Because there are a few who have tested positive, they are extending that to one full month.

We will be going to online only starting tomorrow, February 21st. The church will be closed for any other activities until March 21st. The church gets a thorough cleaning each week and we will be disinfecting all high contact surfaces.

The sermon will be posted on our YouTube Channel and our Facebook page for the next few Sundays at our regular service time of 10:30 a.m. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. Pastor Dan will keep in touch via text, email, and phone calls.

These are challenging times and we are praying for each of you! We don't think it's any coincidence that Pastor Dan has been preaching on prayer.
