Greetings!  Whether you are looking for a church home or a place to worship while visiting the Jamestown, NY area, you are invited to join us on Sundays at 10:30 AM.  As you worship together with us you will find that our church is:

A Place of Worship: A primary reason that we meet together each Sunday is to focus our attention upon God, giving Him our worship and adoration. He alone is worthy of our praise and thanksgiving.

A Place for Learning: In addition to worship we study the Bible each week in a variety of settings, such as in Sunday School (we have classes for all ages), during the worship service on Sunday mornings, and and in several small groups which meet throughout the week. We believe and accept the Bible as God's Word to mankind, a Book that is alive and relevant to life today.

A Place for Friendship: Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship. We are committed to the expression of genuine concern and fellowship amongst the members of the congregation. Among the many ways that this is evident is by our praying for one another and by the times of fellowship together (luncheons or picnics, and other such activities). We invite you to join us.

We are located on the corner of West Third Street and Lakin Ave. (use West 3rd Street if you are using a GPS to locate us).  We have on-street parking.  We provide nursery care and have a children's church duirng the Morning Worship Service.  Please take a moment to look inside this web site to see some of the other ministries that are available at our churchIf you have any questions please feel free to email or call the church office.  Also, note the announcements in the middle of this page.  Some exciting things are happening these days at Jamestown C&MA.  Please join us!

COVID-19 Update

May 23, 2020

Dear Jamestown Alliance Church Family,

I personally wanted to write and let you know that I am praying for each of you during these difficult times we are finding ourselves in. I never would have dreamed that after only 2 months I would be pastoring a church that is unable to meet together for a much longer time than we originally thought.

I want to keep you informed of what our elders have discussed regarding this situation. We are following both the advice from the national, state and local government, as well as that of our district superintendent, and will not be meeting in person until further notice from the Governor. Our goal and prayer is that this ban will be lifted soon. Then the  church building will be able to be opened, after we have the proper guidelines in effect per the NY State.  We are praying to be open sometime in June. But churches are in the Phase 4 of re-opening in NY.

Please be patient during this time and take advantage of the many ways to stay connected to our church body. Call each other on the telephone. Send an email or text. Watch the live-stream service either on Facebook, through our website, or our You-Tube channel. Continue to encourage each other through the Word and prayer.

Acts 17:26-27 says, “From one man He made every nation of men, that they would inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live [and the exact type of technology needed – insert my own]. God did this so that men would seek Him and perhaps reach out to Him and find Him, though He is not far from each of us.” God has set apart this time for us all so let’s not allow it to be time wasted.

So even though we have to wait a bit longer to be together, use this time to grow closer to God and reach out to your neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family through the means allowed. Look out for each other and hopefully we will be back together soon.

Thank you for your patience, prayers and love as we wait together. Please continue to bless the church through your giving either online at www.jamestowncmachurch.org, the mail, or putting your tithe through our mail slot.

I look forward to seeing you face-to-face very soon!

God bless,

Pastor Dan
