Greetings! Whether you are looking for a church home or you are looking for a place to worship while visiting this fall in the Jamestown, NY area, you are invited to join us on Sundays at 10:30 AM. As you worship together with us I believe that you will find that our church is:
A Place of Worship: A primary reason that we meet together each Sunday is to focus our attention upon God, giving Him our worship and adoration. He alone is worthy of our praise and thanksgiving.
A Place for Learning: In addition to worship we study the Bible each week in a variety of settings, such as in Sunday School (we have classes for all ages), during the worship service on Sunday mornings, in the youth group on Wednesday nights, and in several small groups which meet thorough out the week. We believe and accept the Bible as God's Word to mankind, a Book that is alive and relevant to life today.
A Place for Friendship: Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship. We are committed to the expression of genuine concern and fellowship amongst the members of the congregation. Among the many ways that this is evident is by our praying for one another and by the times of fellowship together (luncheons or picnics, church softball games, and other such activities). We invite you to join us.
We are located on the corner of West Third Street and Lakin Ave. (use West 3rd Street if you are using a GPS to locate us). We have on-street parking. We provide nursery care and have a children's church duirng the Morning Worship Service. Please take a moment to look inside this web site to see some of the other ministries that are available at our church. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or call the church office. Also, note the announcements on the right side of this page. Some exciting things are happening these days at Jamestown C&MA. Please join us!
In His Service,
Pastor Wayne Eppehimer
During the month of November we will be collecting items for The Anew Center in Jamestown, NY. This center is an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence. Toiletries such as shampoo, soap and deoderant are among needed items. The women that come to the shelter usually come without anything. Linda Dupler is in charge of the project and will be distributing a list of needed essentials. We will collect them until Sunday, December 18.
